Eleonora Buratto - Micaela
After her recent and notable role debuts as Liù in Turandot at the Teatro
di San Carlo in Naples (March 2015), conducted by Juraj Valčuha and as Contessa
d’Almaviva in Le Nozze di Figaro(May 2015)at the Teatro dell’Opera in Rome,
in the famous Giorgio Strehler production, Eleonora Buratto sang Mahler’s Symphony
n.2 at the Opera di Firenze under the baton of Daniele Gatti and made her
debut at the Teatro alla Scala in Milan as Adina inL’Elisir d’Amore under
the baton of Fabio Luisi. Other recent engagements include: Falstaff as Nannetta
conducted by Zubin Mehta at the Salzburg Festival and as Alice at the Teatro Alighieri
in Ravenna conducted by Riccardo Muti, Adina in L’elisir d’amore at the Teatro
alla Scala in Milan (Daniele Gatti conducting) and at the Teatro Real di Madrid,
Musetta in La Bohème at the Teatro San Carlo in Naples, at the Montpellier
Festival, at the Teatro Regio in Turin and on tour in Shangai under Gianandrea Noseda.
She was Despina in Così fan tutte at the Palau de les Arts in Valencia. She
also took part in Ariadne auf Naxos conducted by Daniel Harding at the Salzburg
Festival. Ms. Buratto recently starred in a series of concert Gala under Riccardo
Muti at the Teatro Comunale in Modena and at the Ravenna Festival.
Among her future engagements, it is worth mentioning her coming debut at
the Metropolitan Opera in New York as Norina in Don Pasquale. Other plans
include Micaela in Carmen in Madrid and Chicago; La Bohème (Mimì)
at the Gran Teatre del Liceu in Barcelona, and in Zurich; Don Giovanni (Donna
Anna) in Aix-en-Provence; Le Nozze di Figaro (Contessa d’Almaviva) in Amsterdam
and at the Teatro Petruzzelli in Bari; La Bohème and Falstaff (cond.
Riccardo Muti) in Chicago.

Sandra Pastrana - Frasquita
The Spanish soprano made her debut in Barcelona as Norina in Don Pasquale,
a role that she then performed under the baton of Riccardo Muti at the Musikverein
in Vienna. In the past seasons she appeared in La Traviata in Marbella, Haydn’s
Lo Speziale at the Teatro de la Maestranza in Seville, La Gazza Ladra
(Ninetta) at the Rossini Opera Festival in Wildbad. She was Violetta Valery in La
Traviata in Siena, conducted by Gianluigi Gelmetti; Lisette in Graham Vick’s
production of La Rondine by Puccini at La Fenice in Venice; Marie in La Fille
du Régiment in Tokyo. She also sang Don Pasquale in Ancona under
Bruno Campanella; La Cecchina in Bergamo under Stefano Montanari; Adelaide
di Borgogna in La Coruña with Alberto Zedda; Petite Messe Solennelle
with Gustav Kuhn in Lucca, Erl and Rome; Rigoletto in Korea with Deuk-Gy
Kim. She recently performed Don Giovanni in Lucca; La Sonnambula and
L’Elisir d’Amore in Malaga;Werther in Salerno and Sassari where she
also sang La clemenza di Tito and Il Signor Bruschino; Il Ratto dal
Serraglio in Vicenza; Help, Help, the Globolinks! in Palermo; Rigoletto
in Cosenza; La Traviata in Spoleto and Ljubljana; Nabucco in Erl under
Gustav Kuhn; Il Cappello di Paglia di Firenze at the Teatro del Maggio Musicale
Fiorentino in Florence; La Bottega dei Sogni in Bari; Tebaldo e Isolina
at the Rossini Festival in Bad Wildbad; Manon in Liège; Jenufa in
Bologna; Mozart’s Krönungsmesse in Granada; Boccherini’s Stabat Mater
with the ORT-Orchestra della Toscana in Florence and on tour in Italy; Haydn’s La
Canterina with Capella Augustina and Andreas Spering for the Opening concert
of the Brühler Schlosskonzerte; Elisabetta regina d’Inghilterra in Sassari;
concerts in Monte Carlo and in Kazan.
Among her future plans it is worth mentioning: La Bohème in Oviedo; Fauré’s
Requiem in Spain.

Annunziata Vestri - Mercedes*
Winner of “Lauri Volpi”, “Maria Caniglia” and Rosertum Lyric Contests, Mrs Vestri
made her debut in 2003 as Suzuki in Madama Butterfly. An eclectic artist
with bold acting qualities, she can boast a huge repertoire that spans from Bel
Canto to Verdi and Puccini’s masterpieces. Mrs. Vestri regularly collaborates with
theaters as: Teatro dell’Opera in Rome, Teatro Regio in Turin, Maggio Musicale in
Florence, Teatro Comunale in Bologna, San Carlo in Naples, Opéra de Montecarlo,
Teatro Regio in Parma, Puccini Festival in Torre del Lago, Sferisterio Opera Festival
in Macerata, Festival dei Due Mondi in Spoleto. Amongst her recent engagements:
Donizetti’s Belisario and Torquato Tasso at the Bergamo Musica Festival;
Cilea’s L’Arlesiana at the Wexford Festival and in Jesi; La Clemenza di Tito
in Trieste; Rigoletto in Naples;Carmen in Livorno, Lucca and Genoa;
Il Trovatore in Schenkenberg; La Traviata in Bari; Madama Butterfly
in Kiel, Florence and Bari; Andrea Chénier (Madelon) in Naples; Aida
(Amneris) in St. Margarethen and in Kazan; Falstaff in Marseille; Guglielmo
Ratcliff at the Wexford Festival Opera. Mrs. Vestri made her film debut
performing as Tisbe in La Cenerentola for the Opera movie directed by Carlo
Verdone, conducted by Gelmetti and produced by Rada Film.
